Hi!

You know those therapists on tv and in movies with the elbow patches on their blazer, who scribble in a notepad with absolutely 0 facial expression and just say “hmmmm”? That’s not me! (or anyone I hope, but I digress).

As a longtime therapy client myself, I know how daunting it can be to let a stranger in. Because of this, I try to practice the type of therapy that I would want to receive.

This means that I:

Privilege transparency and warmth over austerity.
Initiate curious conversation instead of lecturing.
Welcome humour and silliness.
Allow us to make mistakes and to repair them.
Prioritize connection with you and your loved ones.

Will not be afraid of any of your feelings.
